The latest research shows that executive coaches in practice are going beyond what their training and accreditation allow.
And it’s working for them and their clients.
Is it time for coaching theory to catch up?
In coaching, we are taught to emphasise what makes coaching different (from therapy, consulting, mentoring). We believe that those same points of difference are also what makes coaching so effective. However, if we challenge our own assumptions as coaches, we find that the fundamentals of coaching practice have not been rigorously tested. When we do test and measure, we find that while there’s a lot that coaching theory gets right, there are some limitations to the way coaching has defined itself. The research that will be presented in this webinar shows that coaches are pushing the boundaries of what coaching theory allows.
Find out what, how and why coaches are pushing those boundaries, and how their approach actually aligns with the evidence of what works best.
