360° surveys can be used
as a measure of:

  • The level of leadership in the company.
  • How values and ethics are practiced within the organisation.
  • Employee competency gaps and relevant training required.
  • Identifying gaps in perception between the company and its clients.

360º Reports & Feedbacks

We also offer face-to-face feedback by our experienced facilitators that serve as a powerful coaching conversation based on the 360º results. If you prefer, we can also train internal 360º facilitators.

In addition to individual reporting, Omnicor can prepare organisational feedback and reporting that give clients a snapshot of their teams’ behaviours and perceptions. We have developed this system over a number of years and have key advantages over other 360° systems available.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the 360-degree feedback process

01

Understanding the 360-Degree Feedback Process

A 360-degree feedback survey is a multi-rater review process. Feedback is gathered from a range of people who work closely with an individual — typically their manager, peers, direct reports, and the individual themselves — to provide a well-rounded view of behaviours and leadership impact.

No. A 360-degree feedback survey is not a psychometric assessment. It measures perceptions of observable behaviour rather than personality traits, ability, or cognitive potential.

Yes. The 360-degree feedback process can run independently of any psychometric assessments. The absence of psychometrics does not affect the integrity or value of the 360 feedback.

Participants generally include:

  • The individual being reviewed (self-review)
  • Their direct manager
  • Peers or colleagues
  • Direct reports (where applicable)

The exact mix of raters is determined internally by the organisation.

02

Raters, Fairness, and Bias

Rater selection is an internal organisational decision. Omnicor does not advise on which individuals should be selected or how rater relationships should be defined.

If you are unsure which relationship category applies, please contact your internal HR team or project sponsor. Omnicor is unable to advise on internal role or relationship definitions.

While a 360 is a human, perceptual process, safeguards are built in to reduce bias:

  • Feedback is collected from multiple raters
  • Results are aggregated
  • No single rater's view is privileged

Patterns across raters are more meaningful than individual responses.

Fairness is supported through:

  • Averaging of quantitative scores
  • Thematic analysis of qualitative comments
  • Facilitated feedback conversations focused on development rather than judgement
03

Anonymity and Confidentiality

Yes. Individual rater identities are not disclosed. Feedback is presented in aggregated and thematic form to protect anonymity.

In many implementations, direct leader feedback is not anonymous. This supports open, transparent development conversations.

Access to reports is limited to authorised stakeholders, such as the participant, the feedback facilitator, and approved organisational sponsors.

04

Completing the Survey

Most 360 surveys take 20–30 minutes to complete. It is recommended that the survey is completed in one sitting.

Yes, provided you return before the survey closes and your session remains active.

The survey works best on Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Safari. Internet Explorer is not supported.

05

Results and Feedback

Reports may include:

  • Individual feedback reports
  • Strengths and development areas
  • Blind spots and hidden strengths
  • Graphs and dashboards showing patterns and trends

Feedback should be viewed developmentally, focusing on recurring themes rather than isolated comments. A facilitator will help you contextualise and interpret the results constructively.

Yes. Feedback is typically delivered through:

  • One-on-one feedback sessions facilitated by Omnicor consultants, or
  • Sessions led by trained internal facilitators

Participants are encouraged to develop a Personal Development Plan (PDP) based on their 360 insights and agreed development priorities.
