Team 360° Degree Review
How is your team experienced by the organisation?
A multi-rater review where the whole team, not an individual, is the subject. Your team rates itself while the groups around it (senior leaders, staff, peers and stakeholders) anonymously rate the team on the same questions.

Why run a Team 360° Degree Review?
A Team 360° Degree Review is most useful when a team wants an honest read on its collective effectiveness and is willing to act on it. Common reasons teams commission one:
- A new leadership or executive team wants a shared baseline before setting its ways of working.
- An established team senses friction, with stakeholders, with staff, or internally, but cannot name the cause.
- A project or delivery team wants mid-flight feedback while there is still time to adjust.
- A team is preparing for greater scope or scrutiny and wants to know how it is currently perceived by those who will judge it.
- Leadership wants an objective, defensible input into team development rather than relying on impressions.
Reporting & Feedback
The report is built around one comparison: how the team rates itself versus how its raters rate it. That single comparison sorts every finding into one of four categories. Together they form a complete map of the team’s reputation and self-awareness

- Strengths, both the team and its raters rate an area highly. These are confirmed strengths; name them and protect them.
- Development areas, both agree the area is weak. Because there is no disagreement, these are the easiest priorities to get buy-in on.
- Hidden strengths, raters see value that the team underrates in itself. Often a source of untapped confidence and permission to do more of something.
- Blind spots, the team rates itself higher than everyone around it. These are usually the most valuable and the most uncomfortable findings, because by definition the team cannot see them without this exercise.

What is a Team 360° Degree Review?
Most 360-degree reviews put one person at the centre. Colleagues, managers and direct reports rate an individual, and that individual receives feedback on their personal strengths and development areas. A Team 360° Degree Review changes the unit of analysis. The subject is the team as a whole: its collective behaviour, its delivery, and the way it makes decisions, communicates and works with the people around it.
This matters because performance is rarely the sum of individual scorecards. A group of capable people can still be slow to decide, hard to work with, or misaligned on priorities. Those are properties of the team, not of any one member, and they only become visible when you ask about the team directly.
In a Team 360° Degree Review, the team rates itself against a set of questions tied to its mandate and leadership framework. At the same time, the groups that experience the team from the outside rate it on the same questions, anonymously. Comparing those views side by side shows not just how effective the team is, but whose experience of the team differs from the team’s own self-image, and by how much.
Who rates the team?
The power of the method comes from gathering several independent perspectives on the same questions. Each rater group sees the team from a different angle:
The team itself
How members believe the team performs. This becomes the baseline that every other group is compared against.
Senior leaders
Whether the team delivers on its mandate, aligns to strategy, and can be trusted with greater responsibility.
Staff / direct reports
What it is like to be led by or to work under the team day to day: clarity, fairness, support and follow-through.
Peers & stakeholders
How the team collaborates across boundaries: responsiveness, reliability and ease of working together.
